Utah Senator and 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney joined a march in Washington D.C. Sunday, voicing the “black lives matter” slogan.
Romney joined nearly 1,000 marchers outside of the White House Sunday, chanting “black lives matter” and “Do justice”.
“We need a voice against racism, we need many voices against racism and against brutality,” said Romney. “And we need to stand up and say black lives matter.”
“We need a way to end violence and brutality, and a way to make sure people understand that black lives matter.”
