Not a peaceful Shabbat for residents of Lod: A bullet hit the window of a Jewish family's house in the central Israeli city of Lod on the eve of Shabbat (Friday night), moments after the mother and daughter passed by it.
Bentzion Meir Liosh, a resident of Lod, wrote on his Facebook account that at 4 am later that morning, gunshots were heard.
On Saturday afternoon, three Arab men from Ramla were shot dead while at a traffic light at the Lod Center junction .
According to police estimates, the shooters intended to injure one of the vehicle occupants with whom he and his family had a dispute, but they also eliminated the two other occupants for a yet unknown reason.
