A construction worker was killed Tuesday morning in an accident at a work site in the central Israeli city of Bnei Brak.
The incident occurred on Lehi Street, when a construction worker in his 30s was run over by a tractor, leaving him fatally injured.
Emergency first responders were called to the scene of the accident, but were forced to declare the man dead at the scene.
United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Ariel Englander, who was one of the first responders at the scene, said: "The worker was involved in an accident with the tractor while he was working at the construction site. Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the injuries he suffered."
