Iranian President Hassan Rouhani issued an implementation order on Tuesday of parliamentary legislation passed last week that bans the use of any Israeli products in the country, i24NEWS reports.

The ban includes technology, such as computer hardware and software, and was passed unanimously by Iranian lawmakers last week, the report said.

The legislation was passed "to confront the hostile acts of the Zionist regime against peace and security," and considers any cooperation with Israel an “act against god.”

Iran, which is known for its internet censorship, has in the past blocked Israeli technology such as Waze due to its origins.

Iranian officials, including its Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, regularly threaten Israel. Khamenei has several times in the past threatened to "annihilate" the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Just last week, the Supreme Leader posted a tweet in which he threatened to implement the Nazi "Final Solution" against Israel.

After Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu responded to those threats, Khamenei asserted that, in using the term “Final Solution”, he did not refer to Jews but rather only to the State of Israel.

On Friday, Khamenei was at it again, threatening that "the Zionist virus will not last long and the Zionist regime will not survive - and will be destroyed.”

Netanyahu later responded to Khamenei and said, "We say again - those who threaten Israel with extermination place themselves in similar danger.”
