Abraham Zalmanowitz, a computer programmer for Blue Cross/Blue Shield who worked on the 27th floor of World Trade Center #1, was buried in Jerusalem today after his remains from the Sept. 11 catastrophe were finally identified last week. He had been singled out by U.S. President Bush for his extraordinary act of heroism in refusing to abandon a quadriplegic co-worker and friend even after the plane hit the tower. Abe's funeral set out from the Rozhin Yeshiva in the Geulah section of Jerusalem today, and he was buried in a gravesite he purchased on Mt. of Olives facing the Temple Mount.
