In reaction to yesterdays numerous deadly attacks, Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer has approved a move stopping all Arab vehicular traffic in and around the PLO-controlled cities of Kalkilya, Jenin, Shechem, Ramallah, and Tul Karem. In addition this morning the IDF announced that it has placed a military closure around Rafiach, in Israel’s southern Mediterranean costal area. Humanitarian and medical services will be allowed movement in all of the areas mentioned above.

The IDF continues to fight terror before it happens. Last night soldiers entered the PLO-controlled village of Burka, in the Shechem district in pursuit of wanted Arabs. Soldiers in Burka killed two suspicious Arabs who charged towards their post. It turns out that one of the men was a terror suspect. In addition, at least six wanted Arabs were arrested throughout Yesha (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza).
