IDF troops shot and killed an Arab swimming his way towards the northern Gush Katif community of Dugit, early this morning. The Arab was discovered off the coast in full scuba gear several hundred meters from the community's security fence, armed with eight hand grenades and a Kalashnikov assault rifle. The IDF is conducting searches for other potential infiltrators.



In other war news from Gaza, Arabs fired at least two mortar shells and an anti-tank shell at Jewish communitIes in the region, last night… Mortar shells rained down on several towns on Friday night… Soldiers in Ganei Tal and N'vei Dekalim were targeted by gunfire yesterday... No injuries were reported in any of these incidents.



Also today, the Hizbullah terror gang fired anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli targets along the northern border. There were no reports of injuries… Authorities revealed today that troops shot and killed a would-be suicide bomber who was already wearing an explosives belt, near the Arab village of Taibeh, northeast of Ra'anana on Friday. Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told the Cabinet ministers this morning that security forces have caught ten would-be suicide bombers this week alone. He added that demolition crews have destroyed nine houses belonging to terrorists' families as part of the government's new policy of deterring bombers to act.
