The unusually hot weather continues, and so do fires in the north. A blaze erupted this afternoon at the well-known hikers' trail along the Hatzbani River in the southern Golan; three fire-fighting teams are on the scene. Two other fires are burning in the north, one in the Golan near Keshet, and the other in the northern Galilee, near Kibbutz Ramat HaShofet. Hikers have been evacuated from these areas.
