The results of a weekly poll conducted for Voice of Israel show that 60.4% of the population feel that the decision to kill arch-terrorist Salah Shehada in Gaza this week was justified, even though civilians and children were also killed. Only about half that many people felt it was not justified. Over 70% of the population feel that the efforts to reach an agreement with Hamas and other terrorist organizations on an end to terrorist attacks against Israelis did not make the operation any less justified. Finally, exactly three-quarters of the respondents said they were in favor of deporting family members of terrorists to Gaza; only 18.7% were against.
