An IDF force that had been in pursuit of the terrorist cell that murdered nine people in a bus attack outside Emanuel last week finally succeeded. Arutz-7\'s Kobi Finkler explains:
\"Army forces were deployed between Shechem and Emanuel since last week, shortly after seven terrorists left Shechem for the Emanuel attack. Four terrorists took part in the murderous assault on the passenger bus, while the other three covered for them. After the massacre, three of them got away that night, while one was killed; one IDF officer was killed the next morning in an exchange of fire with them. Yesterday, IDF forces found the cell of four near the village of Tel near Shechem, and killed three of them. One of them got away.\" The army later confirmed that the dead terrorists, next to whose bodies were found weapons and ammunition, were in fact the Emanuel cell on its way to another attack in Kedumim.
Earlier this morning, IDF soldiers shot and killed two heavily armed Arabs during a gun battle near the Kissufim junction in Gaza. Army sources estimated, based on past experience and the weapons in the terrorists\' possession, that they were on their way to perpetrate a terror attack. The Kissufim Crossing is the main entrance to the Jewish communities of Gush Katif, and was closed for a while after the incident.
The IDF apprehended four suspected terrorists last night in several locations throughout the Shomron... Troops operating in Tul Karem were targeted by gunfire and firebombs last night… Arabs launched a mortar shell at a Gush Katif community this morning; no injuries were reported, but damage was caused... Many IDF positions in southern Gaza were attacked by gunfire this morning, especially at the Tarmit Outpost in the Rafiach area. No one was hurt...
Two other fronts were re-opened in the ongoing Palestinian terrorist war today. Hizbullah fired anti-aircraft weapons at Israel Air Force planes flying near the northern border in the western Galilee. Shrapnel landed very close to an Israeli town, but no one was hurt. In Tel Aviv this afternoon, police explosives experts neutralized an explosive device found in one of the city\'s tree-filled areas.
