(Updated Tuesday 9:45 AM) IDF soldiers shot and killed two heavily armed Arabs during a gunbattle near the Kissufim junction in Gaza, earlier this morning. The Arabs were on their way to perpetrate a terror attack. Troops are still in pursuit of two other terrorists in the same area. The Kissufim crossing, which is the main entrance to Gush Katif communities, remains closed at this time as a result of the military activity in the area.
In other war news, four Arabs suspected of terrorist activity were apprehended last night in several locations throughout the Shomron last night… Troops operating in PLO-controlled Tul Karem last night were targeted by gunfire and firebombs… This morning Arabs launched a mortar shell at a Gush Katif community. No injuries were reported.
