(Updated Tuesday 9:15 AM) IDF warplanes last night fired missiles at the home of the Hamas gang’s Gaza region leader Salah Shehada, killing him along with 10 other Arabs. Over 100 Arabs were injured in the raid, which leveled Shehada’s Gaza City dwelling as well as several other nearby buildings.

Shehada was responsible for hundreds of attacks against Israeli civilians over the past several years. Security officials say that he was directly linked to the March 8 2002, terrorist infiltration into the Gush Katif community of Atzmona that left five Yeshiva students dead. Shehada also planned the attack on an IDF outpost in southern Gaza last August, in which four soldiers were murdered.
