The Bank Discount break-in in Tel Aviv: The owners of the 450 safety-boxes that were broken into over the weekend were to be allowed to check them today - but at the last minute they were told that they could not. At least two of the robbed box-owners were taken to the hospital while waiting for the bank authorities to help them. The owners will be expected to fill out affidavits declaring what they had in the boxes and what was taken. It was learned this morning that the robbers took only cash - about $20 million worth. Bank Discount is not legally responsible for the theft, unless its security and protection is deemed to have been insufficient.
