Dr. Mario Goldin, 53, of Beit Levenstein Rehabilitation Center, was killed, and 51 people were wounded, in a suicide terrorist bombing in Kfar Saba this morning. The terrorist detonated the bomb that he was wearing on his person at a bus stop just as a #29 bus pulled up. The terrorist thus killed himself, while also critically wounding a teen-aged youth. Three people are listed in moderate condition. Most of the injured were taken to the nearby Meir Hospital; ten have already been released. Dr. Goldin is survived by his wife and three daughters.

Shortly after the blast, police found a booby-trapped car in the vicinity of the attack, which police sappers neutralized. Today\'s was the third bomb to be detonated in Kfar Saba in the past two weeks. The Kfar Saba Municipal Council will hold an emergency meeting this evening, with the participation of the local Police Commissioner. On the agenda: different approaches for the city and security agencies to take in the fight against the wave of terrorist attacks.

Government ministers of the security cabinet received a report on the murderous attack during their meeting this morning, their third such session since Wednesday. Today\'s regular government meeting was canceled.
