Army forces have destroyed the home of one of the Emanuel-attack terrorists, as well as that of the man who dispatched the two suicide terrorists to the next day\'s attack in Tel Aviv. Even more significantly, IDF troops arrested some 20 family members of the terrorists - fathers and brothers - with the purpose of deporting them to Gaza. Attorney-General Elyakim Rubenstein is reportedly against the move, however, saying that only those with a clear connection to terrorism may legally be deported. IDF sources said the move is aimed to show the terrorists that their crimes would cost them a heavy price.
Opposition leader MK Yossi Sarid (Meretz), not surprisingly, objects: \"Who knows, maybe the family members are even against the attacks, and now they will be punished for a crime they didn\'t commit?\" he said on Israel Radio today. The Yesha Council, on the other hand, said that they should not be deported to Gaza, but \"outside of Israel altogether.\"
