Two of the victims of last night\'s double suicide terrorist attack in Tel Aviv have been identified. One is an Israeli, and the other is a foreign worker from Romania: Adrian Anades, 30. Authorities are not yet sure of the identity of the third casualty, a foreign worker from Asia. Some 25 wounded were still hospitalized as of this morning, most of them foreign workers, and five of them are listed in serious condition.

The explosions occurred around 10 PM, when two terrorists - one of them apparently a teen-aged boy - detonated the explosive belts they had been supplied on a crowded southern Tel Aviv street. Each vest contained about 15 kilograms of explosives, according to police, and many nails. The terrorists blew themselves up almost simultaneously within several meters of each other. The victims were transported to Ichilov, Tel HaShomer, Wolfson, and Beilinson Hospitals. Shortly before midnight, Israel Radio aired an update in Romanian, on behalf of the many Romanian wounded and their families whose Hebrew is weak.

The Islamic Jihad terror organization claimed responsibility for the attack. The IDF lifted the curfews in Ramallah, Jenin and other cities for several hours today, but Defense Minister Ben-Eliezer cancelled other planned restriction-easings on PA residents.
