The death toll from yesterday’s terrorist attack near the Shomron community of Emanuel rose to eight when the premature infant delivered by emergency C-section died this morning. The baby\'s mother was serious wounded in the attack, and doctors at Schneider Children\'s Hospital in Petach Tikvah performed the operation last night. A total of 16 victims remain hospitalized, including several in serious condition.
The seven other dead are: Nine-month-old Sarah Shilon, her father Gal, 30, and Gal’s mother-in-law Zilpa Kashi, 65; Yonatan Gamliel, 16; Ilana Siton, 35; Karen Kashani, 20; and Galilah Ades, 46. Zilpa Kashi lived in Givatayim, while the other victims were all from Emanuel.
