Prime Minister Sharon and Foreign Minister Peres have given initial approval to the appointment of Labor Party Minister Dalia Itzik as Israel\'s next ambassador to England; this despite that fact that Itzik has only a rudimentary knowledge of English. According to the Women in Green organization, Itzik asked to be considered for the post because she is \"attempting to flee the imminent downfall of the Labor Party, by finding refuge in London.\" Women in Green has decided to send Minister Itzik a kit that teaches English on a kindergarten level in order to help prepare for her new post, should her appointment be finalized. The organization released a statement saying that Diaspora Jewry is \"sick and tired of Israeli diplomatic representatives from the left who are not able to speak the local language and who don\'t know (and don\'t want to know) how to express Jewish Zionist views.\"
