Israel Air Force jets bombed a Hamas building in southern Gaza yesterday, destroying it totally. The three-story structure had served as a bomb-making factory under the management of terrorist Yusuf Abdel Wahab, who escaped the bombing. At around the same time, Hamas terrorists entered a nearby court building where a man was being tried for his ties with Israel, and beat him to death.



PLO terrorists fired several more mortar shells towards Elei Sinai in northern Gaza last night; no one was hurt. In other incidents, terrorists fired at an Israeli car near Kadim, in northern Shomron, causing damage but no casualties… Near Beitar, south of Jerusalem, a Jewish woman was lightly hurt by rocks hurled at her car… A terrorist tried to stab a Border Guard policeman near Shechem, but was shot and wounded for his efforts… Soldiers were targeted by gunfire in Gush Katif near Kibbutz Kisufim during the night; no one was hurt...



IDF forces found what they call a \"new PA rocket\" in southern Gush Katif today. It was apparently fired from PA areas toward Jewish communities, but failed to detonate. The troops exploded it safely in a controlled blast late this afternoon... No one was hurt in a bomb attack this afternoon between Anatot and Anata, on the road between northern Jerusalem and Mishor Adumim...



On the offensive side of the ongoing Operation Determined Path, Israeli forces last night apprehended ten PA residents suspected of terrorist activities. Four were arrested in the Tul Karem area, three near Shechem, two near Kalkilye, and one near Hevron; all were turned over to the General Security Service.



Jordan is making it more difficult for Arabs of Judea and Samaria to run away from the difficulties of living in the PA. It has limited the number of people who can enter each day to only 150, and has raised the amount of deposit they must pay in order to ensure that they leave when their entry permits expire.
