Israel Police and the IDF took another swipe at PLO car-theft efforts in a joint effort this past Friday, arresting four top ringleaders of the thriving industry. Israeli cars are stolen and brought to Palestinian Authority-controlled areas at a rate of over 2,000 each month. In the operation at the end of last week, the police recovered many stolen vehicles, including cars, two trucks, three tractors, and three cranes.
