Today was not a quiet day in the ongoing Oslo War, especially in Gaza. Alert IDF soldiers thwarted an attempt by four heavily-armed Arabs to infiltrate the northern Gaza community of Elei Sinai this morning. A tank crew witnessed the terrorists making their way towards the community and began firing in their direction. Two of the terrorists were caught, but two managed to escape to PA-controlled territory. Interrogation of the first two showed that they also planned to carry out a suicide attack in Netiv HaAsarah, north of the Gaza Strip in pre-\'67 Israel.

Troops in northern Gaza found a triple-barrel anti-tank rocket launcher yesterday. It was aimed at a Jewish community in the area, and a detonated missile was found nearby. The device was neutralized without incident. Another launcher of this type was also found over the weekend near Netzarim… In other attacks, an IDF outpost near N\'vei Dekalim and an army patrol near Rafiach were attacked, though no one was hurt... Terrorists fired at least three mortar shells at Jewish communities in Gaza last night; no one was hurt…

Over the weekend, at least five Arabs planning to carry out suicide attacks in Israeli cities were apprehended on Friday, in various locations throughout Yesha (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza). Soldiers also uncovered and destroyed bomb-making factories in the PLO-controlled towns of Ramallah and Shechem yesterday. Inside the factories were hundreds of bombs, grenades, and homemade armaments.

At around 2 AM this morning Arab stone throwers targeted an Israeli motorist traveling north between Jerusalem and Shilo; he was unhurt... Arabs also threw a bomb at an IDF force west of Bethlehem; no one was hurt.
