Anti-aircraft fire was fired against Israel Air Force planes this afternoon in the northern Galilee. No one was hurt, but the falling shrapnel started a number of fires in the area, which firefighters put out. The blasts caused a measure of panic among residents and children in nearby day camps.



This was just the latest in a months-long series of Hizbullah provocations against Israel, which analysts say is designed to draw Israel to respond militarily. The Hizbullah terrorists, it is said, wish to create conditions that would allow them to counter-respond against Israel with the thousands of katyusha rockets they have deployed along their joint border. Northern Israel municipal leaders continue to demand that Israel take action against the Hizbullah provocations.
