(Updated Sunday 9 AM) Alert IDF soldiers thwarted an attempt by two armed Arabs to infiltrate the Gush Katif Jewish community of Alei Sinai, earlier this morning. Soldiers manning a tank witnessed the Arabs making their way towards the community and began firing in their direction. A gunbattle erupted, which continues at this time, with sporadic gunfire being reported. There are no reports of injuries to IDF forces.
