A bill preventing restitution to Jewish Holocaust victims will be discussed Wednesday in the country's Paliament, Kan reported.

The bill was proposed by Poland's Kukiz15 party.

"We hope the bill will pass this week, and that the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party will support it," a Kukiz15 source said.

It is not clear whether the PiS will back the bill.

On Israel's Holocaust Memorial Day, Kukiz15 proposed a law to prevent demands for restitution in cases where there are no direct descendants.

"This law will prevent, finally, Holocaust victims' random demands for property."

The Kukiz15 party is Poland's third-larges and sits in the opposition.
