The al-Aksa terrorist Brigade, a branch of Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement, is calling on the Arab and Muslim world to attack Zionist and US targets everywhere, because of US President’s Bush’s call for the removal of Yasser Arafat as leader of the PA. The Al-Aksa statement, released yesterday, encourages Palestinians worldwide to respond with violence to US efforts to “remove the legitimate leadership of the Palestinian people.”
Fatah is also calling on the Palestinian leadership to “boycott” meetings with US Secretary of State Colin Powell. Powell recently labeled Arafat a “disappointment” and said that he “did not seize…opportunities to bring the violence under control.”
