An explosion at the Force 17 headquarters in Ramallah occurred late this afternoon. Despite Palestinian reports that an IAF attack helicopter launched a missile at the site, Israel denies any knowledge or involvement in the attack. The Force 17 building suffered extensive damage, and three people were reportedly wounded.

Yet another terrorist leader has been hit by Israeli fire - he is listed in very critical condition - but this time it does not appear to have been purposeful. Hamas terrorist leader Khalil a-Sakani was hospitalized this morning in Gaza after he was hit accidentally by an Israeli tank shell fired towards the Palestinian mortar gunners. A-Sakani is known to have initiated many of the mortar attacks on Israeli towns over the past few weeks, and is a top aide of arch-terrorist Mohammed Def.

Israeli security agencies have arrested members of a Tanzim cell responsible for shooting and bombing incidents in the Bethlehem area. The commander and other gang members of the gang, responsible for cellular-phone detonated bombings, dozens of shootings, and other attacks in which IDF soldiers were hurt, are still at large. The arrested terrorists confessed that their colleagues still at large were planning more attacks.

In addition, news was released yesterday that terrorists suspected of involvement in recent Jerusalem car bomb attacks were arrested almost three weeks ago.

Security forces are not neglecting Arab rock-throwers either. Three Palestinians suspected of throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at Jewish cars in Gush Etzion were arrested last night in Kafr Hussan, and they reported on seven others who aided them in their crimes. The police expect to arrest the seven in the coming days.
