Three dozen South African rabbis are scheduled to arrive in Israel next week for their Second Rabbinical Solidarity Conference in Jerusalem. Following last year\'s first-ever official solidarity visit by the South African Rabbinate, many rabbis felt that it must be repeated. \"If we needed to demonstrate our solidarity with the people of Eretz Yisrael last year, then how much more so now,\" said Rabbi Yossy Goldman, Chairman of the SA Rabbinical Association. Chief Rabbi Cyril Harris will lead the delegation, which will be comprised of rabbis from Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria. They will meet with Israel\'s Chief Rabbis and President Moshe Katzav, will donate blood, and will visit terror victims at Tel HaShomer Hospital.
