An IDF soldier was moderately injured Monday night as a result of gunfire during a training exercise on a military base in central Israel.
The soldier was evacuated to the hospital for treatment.
Circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
Last week, an IDF soldier was lightly injured during a training exercise in the Jordan Valley.
The soldier was treated at the scene and then taken by helicopter for treatment at the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.
