
Four IDF officers and a soldier were injured this morning in a road accident between a truck and an army vehicle on Route 89, between Sasa and Hurfeish in northern Israel.
The condition of two of the officers injured in the accident is moderate, while the condition of the two additional officers and the soldier is light.
All the injured in the accident were evacuated for medical treatment at the hospital. Military police opened an investigation into the incident.
The hospital said, "The emergency room at the Ziv Medical Center in Tzfat received five casualties from a traffic accident between a truck and an army vehicle."
"Two IDF officers in moderate condition are being treated in the trauma room, one of them will undergo surgery. Two more officers and a soldier in light condition are being treated," the statement said.
