The IDF’s new battle against PLO-terrorism went into high gear last night, as troops, backed by armored vehicles, once again entered Ramallah and surrounded Yasser Arafat’s Mukata Compound. A curfew was imposed on the city. The operation known as “Determined Stand,” is now being waged throughout Yesha (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza). Troops are operating in or around Tul Karem, Kalkillya, Hevron, and in the Bethlehem district.



Soldiers operating in Jenin yesterday uncovered a bomb factory with two explosive belts ready for use. Each belt contained at least 15 kilograms of explosives. In addition, two bags of explosives materials and parts of Kassam rockets were found.

Also last night, troops arrested at least 12 Arabs suspected of terrorist activity.
