A Palestinian Arab teen was killed on Friday in clashes with Israeli troops near Ramallah.

The 17-year-old killed was named by the Palestinian Authority (PA) “health ministry” as Mahmoud Nakhla, who authorities said died after being shot in the stomach near Jalazone, north of Ramallah, AFP reported.

The IDF did not immediately comment on the death, which came as soldiers clashed with rock-throwing protesters in multiple locations.

The incident occurred as IDF soldiers continue to search for the terrorists who carried out Thursday’s terrorist attack in the Binyamin region community of Givat Assaf, murdering two soldiers and wounding a third, as well as a 20-year-old woman.

The attack was the second shooting attack this week by Hamas terrorists along Highway 60 in the Ramallah area. On Sunday, Hamas terrorists opened fire on a group of Israeli civilians outside of Ofra, wounding seven.

Earlier on Friday, a terrorist infiltrated the town of Beit El and attacked a soldier, throwing a large rock at his head and stabbing him.

The soldier was evacuated to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem in serious-to-moderate condition.

The IDF later said that the terrorist who carried out the Beit El attack had entered through an opening in the protective wall near Beit El.

The IDF sealed the opening and also demolished an old abandoned Arab stone structure that was located several dozen meters from the wall, on the Jewish side. The Supreme Court had ruled that the opening in the wall must remain in order to allow the Arab owner access to the structure.
