One of the few bright spots in the security picture of the past 24 hours was in Kiryat Arba. The city\'s security officer Yitzchak Bo\'anish told Arutz-7 what happened in the local yeshiva high school last night:
\"We have had many intelligence warnings in the past two weeks, just like other areas in Yesha, and very particularly in the area of the high school and the Givat Harsina neighborhood. We therefore had many forces in the area. Last night, around 12:40 AM, a terrorist came to an unfenced agricultural area of the yeshiva, where soldiers were guarding. He threw two grenades, but hurt no one. He then continued running and shooting towards the yeshiva. He arrived at the fence, where a yeshiva guard saw him and fired, and the terrorist fired back. Two counselors of the yeshiva joined the guard, and also shot. Then the emergency force arrived and divided into two groups: one to help the guard and the counselors, and one to get all the students away from the caravans and into a safe place. At this point, the shooting stopped and the combing started, together with the army. We found cartridges and grenades left behind by the terrorist, and a little later, the terrorist himself was found hiding. He seemed to have been shot, but he was certainly alive - and dangerous, given the weapons he had with him. The soldiers engaged him, and killed him.\"
It will be recalled that a terrorist infiltrated the Atzmonah yeshiva on March 7 and killed five students, and that another one managed to kill three high school students in Itamar three weeks ago. Bo\'anish said that last night\'s incident in Kiryat Arba was \"successful from our standpoint, first of all in that we were able to identify the terrorist quickly... We have the merit of the Patriarchs on our side, as we are in the City of the Patriarchs [Kiryat Arba is adjacent to Hevron].\"
