Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked addressed the third annual Jerusalem Leaders Summit on Sunday.
During the summit, Shaked was asked about the next round of elections which may be held early due to the current coalition crisis.
"I think that the election will be in March ... and the next prime minister will be Benjamin Netanyahu," Shaked said.
"I hope that the Jewish Home, the party that I belong to, will be a strong party. It is the right-wing ideological party in Israel, and I think we need to be strong in order to execute [a right-wing policy]," she added.
She called attempts to restart peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority a "waste of time."
"I don't think that there is a current chance in the current [foreseeable] future to make peace in the Middle East. I think that... Mahmoud Abbas, is not there. The gaps between the Palestinians and the Israelis are much too big to be bridged."
