(Updated Wednesday 9:45 AM) Minister of Internal Security Uzi Landau, told Israel’s Reshet Bet radio station this morning, that it must be understood in the United States that “the declaration of [support for] a Palestinian State by President Bush, would be the greatest victory for Arafat-sponsored terrorism, since Israel agreed to the 1993 Oslo Accords.” Landau also said that the establishment of such an entity would be a great defeat for Israel’s “foreign and security policy”. He added that “those that carry out terror should not be rewarded, but rather must pay a heavy price.”
