An official ceremony will be held this evening at Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum marking the onset of Holocaust Memorial Day (Yom HaShoah) tonight and tomorrow. President Katzav, Prime Minister Sharon, and Chief Rabbis Lau and Bakshi-Doron will participate. Yad Vashem Director Avner Shalev reported today that less than half of Israel\'s students ever visit the museum during their school years. Knesset Education Committee Chairman Zevulun Orlev, who received the report, said that he will propose legislation that will require every student to visit the center at least once.
