Public Security Minister Uzi Landau has sharp criticism of the government in light of the American proposal for a \"temporary Palestinian state.\" Landau says that the establishment of such an entity would be the \"greatest victory for Arafat-led terrorism since the signing of the Oslo Accords.\" He further said today at the Cabinet meeting that the window of opportunity for destroying the terrorist infrastructures inside the Palestinian Authority is liable to be shut tight, and that Israel must act firmly to destroy these infrastructures now.



Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told the weekly cabinet meeting today that the conditions are not ripe for the establishment of a Palestinian state of any kind.
