IDF soldiers operating in Gaza yesterday thwarted what might have been the largest car bomb attack ever attempted during the current Oslo War. The car was found between the northern Gaza communities of Dugit and Elei Sinai. The troops discovered a vehicle containing 180 kilograms (almost 400 lbs.) of explosives including mortar shells, launchers, and nails. A tank fired at the vehicle and detonated it without incident. Late Friday afternoon, a much smaller car bomb was discovered and successfully blown up in the same area.
