An agreement has been reached in the Tel Aviv District Court regarding the continued operations of the Pi Gelilot fuel depot - site of the attempted mega-terrorist attack on May 23. The compromise agreed to by the residents and the gas companies states that the site will be closed down completely within two years, and until then will serve as a repository only for home fuel. The installation will not hold more than 500 tons of fuel during the interim period, as opposed to the 2,500 tons that have been stored there until now.
