The Yesha Council has apparently reached the limit of its concessions regarding the proposed partition fence between Arab-populated areas of Judea/Samaria and the rest of Israel. The Council resolved this week that it could not morally object to the construction of something that might prevent some terrorist attacks. However, it also insists that the location of the line be devoid of political significance - meaning that the barriers must not be built along the Green Line that separated Jordanian-held territory from Israel before 1967. The Council even threatens to hold massive demonstrations and \"dismantle the government coalition\" if the fence is built, as currently planned, along the Green Line.
