Israel\'s anti-terror offensive in Ramallah, which was to have taken place last week but was delayed until yesterday morning, has netted the arrest of 52 terrorists and terrorism-organizers thus far. Among this number were nine who were arrested last night, and two about to commit suicide attacks in Israeli cities. Soldiers also discovered two cars laden with powerful explosives, together with Israeli identification cards and official Palestinian Authority documents.

The Israeli forces also arrested 60 Arabs in a Hamas teachers\' college in northern Ramallah today - including 14 wanted terrorists. Army bulldozers have blocked the main entrance to Ramallah\'s former Military Administration building, now used by the PA, and cars are unable to enter or leave the compound. Israel Police sent a contingent into the city yesterday and today, and it has located over 30 stolen Israeli cars.

IDF troops continue to operate in other areas throughout Yesha (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza). The army has imposed a curfew on the PLO-controlled city of Tul Karem and surrounding villages, east of Netanya. Troops are searching the area in light of intelligence warnings of planned imminent suicide attacks.
