Palestinian terrorists tried their hand in several attacks today, sometimes with critical results:

* A Border Guard policeman was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack outside Flower Gate of Jerusalem\'s Old City this afternoon. The victim was taken to the trauma unit of Mt. Scopus Hadassah Hospital, while the attacker was not apprehended.

* A terrorist was killed last night after he opened fire on a convoy of Israeli cars at the Kisufim entrance to Gaza. The gunman was found to be carrying several hand grenades, as well as weapons and other ammunition.

* A bomb was discovered this morning on the Karnei Shomron-Kedumim road in central Shomron. Kol Rina News Agency reports that sappers neutralized it.

* Terrorists fired at workers on the Trans-Israel Highway near Kalkilye this morning; no one was hurt.

* A would-be suicide terrorist blew himself up a bit earlier than he planned this afternoon, south of the Karni checkpoint in northern Gaza. His death is considered a terrorist \"work accident.\"

Alert IDF soldiers checked a PA ambulance at the Gush Katif junction last night - and found a wanted Palestinian terrorist inside. The troops became suspicious when they saw no medical personnel or injured persons in the vehicle. Israel has long accused the PA of abusing the Red Cross-granted privilege of free travel for ambulances. \"We have seen that Palestinian ambulances generally bring ammunition to the terrorists, not help to the wounded,\" recently said Foreign Ministry spokesman Raanan Gissin.
