Visitors at The Museum of the Jewish people at Beit Hatfutsot will meet a special exhibition presenting artwork by young Jewish boys and girls from around the world. The artwork was created by the worldwide finalists of the "My Family Stroy" competition.

Participating in the International Competition in Memory of Manuel Hirsch Grosskopf were youth from USA, Latin America, Russia, the former USSR countries, Australia, Canada, Europe and Israel.

My Family Story, a far-reaching educational initiative, is one of Beit Hatfutsot’s most innovative flagship programs. Through a yearlong curriculum, young participants in Israel and worldwide Jewish communities, embark on a fun and meaningful, personal, experiential, international and multigenerational Jewish heritage project. Through rigorous research and inspiring creativity the students produce a final art display illustrating their personal exploration into their family roots and connection to the greater story of the Jewish people.

"My family" embodies the essence of the museum of the Jewish people at Beit Hatfutsot", says Itamar Kremer, Director of the Kort international school for Jewish peoplehood, "Jewish youth from all around the world exploring their Jewish roots and family story. Visiting Israel for the first time and meeting youth from Israel and the world. It is a unique celebration and a life changing event for us all.”
