One Arab was killed and about 30 were wounded - most of them lightly - in the IDF attack on Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. It was from there that the mortar-firing terrorists attacked Sderot last night. The Israeli forces caused heavy damage to the Palestinian para-military police station there. They also captured areas within Palestinian-controlled territory, thus distancing the Jewish towns from the range of Palestinian mortars. Earlier yesterday evening, the IDF attacked Arab targets in southern Gaza Strip areas. Early this morning, the IDF shelled Palestinian terrorist targets in Tulkarm, east of Netanya.
