At least 18 Israelis were murdered this morning when an Arab terrorist detonated a car packed with explosives alongside a passenger bus at the Megido junction, west of Hadera. It is being reported at this time that at least 50 people were wounded in the blast and have been transferred to area hospitals. 3 victims are in critical condition at this time fighting for their lives. Another 5 are in serious condition, and 12 are listed as moderate. A moderate wound might consist of irreversible damage to a victim’s internal organs or the loss of an appendage such as an arm or leg.
The targeted bus was in flames for several minutes hampering rescue efforts. There are also reports of a large quantity of metallic fragments, nails, and bolts that were attached to the bomb, in order to increase the human carnage.
