Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday marched together with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić at Russia's Victory Day parade.
The parade, which this year marks the 73rd anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany, was held at the Red Square in Moscow.
After the parade, the leaders placed wreaths of flowers on the anonymous soldier's grave, at a memorial for soldiers in the Red Army who fell during the Second World War and whose gravesites are not known. They also placed flowers on the memorial stones for the "heroic cities," as their national anthems played in the background.
The leaders are currently participating in a Kremlin event honoring Victory Day and veterans of World War II, after which they will meet for a private discussion.
Last week, Putin invited Netanyahu to join him for the parade and celebratory events, after which the two would discuss privately recent developments in the Middle East.
