Education Minister Naftali Bennett accused Iran's leaders of sending others to die for them.
Bennett addressed the Herziliya Conference Tuesday, where he spoke about the threat of Iran and its proxies, including the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
"Today we say - Nasrallah, if you start a war against Israel you will destroy Lebanon," warned Bennett. "What is a resident of a village in southern Lebanon to Iran's interests? Nasrallah is caught in the horns of a dilemma and understands that if he plays the Iranian game, he will destroy his country."
"Hezbollah is the main actor in Lebanon. There is no more separation [between the terror group and the government]. Nasrallah's attack on us will destroy Lebanon," Bennett added.
Bennett reiterated that Iran is responsible for any attack by Hezbollah or its other proxies in the Middle East. "There is one octopus head sitting in Tehran, sending emissaries to every point in the Middle East."
"The Iranians do not like to die and they send others to die for them," he said, "Iran is not a dictatorship but a democratic dictatorship."
"As we draw blood against the ends of the arms in Gaza and Lebanon, the head of the octopus does not risk itself," Bennett said. "We will go for the head of the octopus and not waste any energy on its arms."
