An Israeli police dog along with a military tracker spotted the body of the truck driver who was swept away by floods last week in the Naot Hakikar area. A notice was given to his family.
Rescuers are working to extract the body that will be transferred to the Forensic Institute.
The driver, Ayman Jaber, was swept along with the truck in the current that flooded the road he was travelling near Naot Hakikar last Thursday and contact with him was lost.
Since then extensive searches were conducted with IDF and police force participation, along with various rescue units and many volunteers.
Forces did not succeed in achieving any significant results for days, but this morning the breakthrough came and the body was identified.
