Thousands of Jewish residents arrived at the London Arena Sunday for a special event organized by the 'Ezer Mitzion' organization in which products from the Machane Yehuda market in Jerusalem.

The event, which was sponsored by the Jerusalem office of Minister Ze'ev Elkin, was designed to encourage the expansion of the Ezer Mitzion bone marrow donor base, which has so far saved the lives of more than 2,600 people.

The Jewish residents of London gathered in the market area to experience the smells of the colorful market, to hear the voices of the market merchants and to buy the goods brought directly from the Land of Israel.

This is the second time that the Mahane Yehuda market came to the Diaspora. Six months ago, the market was brought to Toronto, where thousands came to connect to Jerusalem.

Ezer Mitzion, which has been operating for decades for the welfare of sick families, established a bone marrow donation registry under the direction of Dr. Bracha Zisser in 1998, and over the last 20 years more than 2,600 people have received new life thanks to bone marrow transplants through the bone marrow matches found through the registry.

Ezer Mitzion, which has worked for the last week together with the construction team and Mahaneh Yehuda market dealers, expressed their thanks to the Jewish community or their support for the success of the Mahane Yehuda market in London. Together they hope to save even more lives.
