Israeli singer Svika Pick, 68, found himself feeling ill on an El Al flight en route from London to Israel.
A doctor who happened to be on the flight examined Pick and suggested the crew land in Vienna, in order to transfer Pick to a local hospital.
The pilot carried out an emergency landing, and Pick was transferred to a local hospital, where he will undergo testing.
A statement from El Al said that the flight continued on to Israel after Pick was evacuated.
