A delegation of Japanese Christians arrived in Israel to participate in the Jerusalem March of the Living held on Holocaust Remembrance Day. Arutz Sheva was there to hear from participants what moved them to arrive from so far to express support.
"We have been praying for Israel more than eighty years now, before the establishment of Israel, because in the Bible it says we need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem," said Satsumi Takana, who spoke for the group. "That's why we are here, to march with you and we need to search for peace with you and for the whole world - we believe."
Asked what effect participating in the march has on her delegation members, Takana answered, "It's a natural thing for us to pray for Israel, and all the people have their own vision to pray for Israel, and we love Israel so much, so they came with their love."
